You’ve been duped!
A fake X account posing as ESPN NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski tricked many fans into thinking a former NBA MVP retired.
Despite the post on X, Memphis Grizzlies guard Derrick Rose did not retire.

The account, which clearly indicates that it is a “Parody/Troll” account in its bio, only boasts just over 10K followers, but this post in particular gained some steam with 26k likes and nearly 5K reposts in just a couple of hours.
Rose has been on his last legs for quite some time and has only played in 24 games this season for the Grizzlies. Even the Bulls broadcasters got fooled by Derrick Rose retirement report from fake Adrian Wojnarowski.
When Rose does call it a career, he will retire as a former NBA MVP which he won in 2011 with the Chicago Bulls and a three-time NBA all-star.
Rose of course was on the path to super stardom before injuries derailed his career which began in the 2012 NBA playoffs when he tore his ACL in the Bulls’ first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers.
