As the 2023 NFL season approaches, Ezekiel Elliott is sparking curiosity with his new appearance.
The running back, now a free agent following his release from the Dallas Cowboys at the end of the 2022 campaign, seems to have embraced change by chopping off his hair.
Elliott took to social media to share a photo of his newly shorn locks on the floor.
Then he made the big reveal.

Not only has the 28-year-old worked on getting leaner this year, but it seems he has further plans to enhance his game.

While rumors swirl about his potential return to the Cowboys, the New York Jets have emerged as a possible destination. Though Elliott’s rushing threat has diminished compared to previous years, he demonstrated reliability as a complementary option alongside another running back. Last season, he recorded 876 yards and 12 touchdowns, highlighting his value in short-yardage situations.

With the recent addition of Aaron Rodgers, the Jets are under pressure to perform immediately. Adding Zeke to their roster could address the lack of depth in their running back department, especially with Breece Hall returning from an ACL injury.
Although the team previously hosted Dalvin Cook, Elliott remains an intriguing possibility. As the offseason unfolds, it remains to be seen where Elliott will ultimately land.
