The Las Vegas Sphere has become a sought-after advertising venue, especially as Super Bowl LVIII approaches.
Advertisers are looking to capitalize on the LED display “exosphere” of the Sphere venue on the Vegas Strip during Super Bowl week, with costs ranging from $1 million to potentially $2 million, and prices peaking on Super Bowl Sunday itself.
During the Super Bowl game on February 11th in Las Vegas, only two companies will have the privilege of displaying their ads on the Sphere’s outer layer. The specific companies participating in this exclusive promotion remain undisclosed to the public. This unique advertising opportunity is set to span approximately 12 hours throughout the duration of the game day.
Advertising spots on the Sphere in Las Vegas for the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII are priced as high as $2 million.
According to GSD&M advertising agency’s Chief Media Officer, Dave Kersey, the Sphere’s sales representatives have quoted Super Bowl advertising rates between $1.5 million and $2 million per ad display (depending on how long the ad is shown).
The Sphere has announced that its advertising slots are fully booked for the entire week preceding the Super Bowl, with prices escalating as the event draws nearer.
On the day of the Super Bowl, the ads will be shown alongside football-themed visuals.
Normally, the Sphere rotates advertisements from three to four different brands each day, with each ad appearing for a few seconds. The cost for a total of four hours of screen time is around $450,000.
CBS Sports plans to incorporate the Las Vegas Sphere into its Super Bowl LVIII broadcast, making it an attractive platform for brands seeking visibility during the high-profile event.
