An ex-Broncos RB has been arrested for domestic violence.
Lance Ball, who played for the Denver Broncos from 2009-12, was booked on domestic violence this week for strangulation and assault. The 37-year-old ex-Broncos RB was taken into custody.
The site of the incident was reportedly in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Deputies responded to a report of “physical domestic disturbance” at the residence. The victim was taken to a local hospital.
According to KDVR, Ball returned from golfing and an argument ensued between him and the victim.
Ball earned second-team All-ACC honors while at Maryland. He largely served as a backup running back while in the NFL.
For his career, Ball had 801 rushing yards on 192 attempts with a total of four touchdowns.
