Anna Kane, the former spouse of renowned ice hockey player Evander Kane, has once again attracted attention by accusing him of marital misconduct and gambling on NHL games in an Instagram post, allegations that he has refuted.
The contentious situation escalated to the point where a court granted Evander Kane a temporary restraining order against Anna. In court documents, he accused her of violence, citing an incident where she allegedly hit him “7-8 times in the face with her fist” during an argument in 2019.
Evander Kane claimed that this was the first of several violent incidents that occurred between 2019 and 2021. A restraining order against Anna remains in effect until 2024. Despite this, both were recently in the same arena when Kane was playing for the Edmonton Oilers and faced the Detroit Red Wings.
Upon learning of Anna’s presence, Evander reportedly had her removed from the arena due to the existing restraining order.

Despite the distraction, the Edmonton Oilers achieved a significant victory, tying a franchise record with their 9th consecutive win in a 3-2 overtime triumph against the Detroit Red Wings. Connor McDavid scored the tying goal in the third period, and Darnell Nurse secured the win with a goal 1:20 into overtime. The Oilers have the opportunity to break the team record in their next game against Montreal.
It is hoped that Anna adheres to the restraining order and refrains from contact with her ex-husband, who evidently wants to maintain distance from her. Evander Kane has recorded 14 goals and 10 assists, totaling 24 points for the season.
