Despite the Denver Nuggets trailing 2-0 in their playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the spotlight has been on Nuggets’ guard Jamal Murray following his actions during Game 2.
Murray made headlines by throwing a towel and a heat pack onto the court, actions for which he was not penalized during the game. However, on Tuesday, the NBA issued Murray a hefty $100,000 fine.
When approached by the media on Wednesday, Murray was reticent about the incident, stating, “I mean it is what it is and I take everything in full responsibility, so on to the next.”
The incident was heavily criticized by ESPN’s Mike Greenberg during Thursday’s episode of “Get Up,” although specific comments from Greenberg were not detailed in the original message.
