The internet continues to serve as the ultimate comment box, where people flock to express and vent all their frustrations.
This week, EA Sports announced that all 134 FBS teams have opted into College Football 25, marking the studio’s return to college football gaming since NCAA Football 14.
In addition to unveiling the teams featured in the game, EA Sports also disclosed the voice cast for College Football 25. The lineup includes notable names such as Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, David Pollack, Kevin Connors, and Jesse Palmer. However, noticeably absent from the roster are female voices.
Holly Rowe, an esteemed reporter, took to Twitter to criticize EA Sports for the lack of diversity in its voice cast. “How about including some women EA Sports 30 years on the college football sidelines,” Rowe tweeted, accompanied by a shrugging emoji.

Rowe’s critique brings attention to the absence of representation for women in the game. Notably, sideline reporter Jen Lada, a prominent figure on College Gameday since 2016, is omitted from the voice cast.
Rowe herself boasts one of the longest tenures at ESPN, having been with the network since 1995. Throughout her career, she has covered a wide range of sports, including men’s college football, the NBA, WNBA, women’s college softball, women’s college basketball, women’s college volleyball, women’s soccer, and more.
The absence of female voices in College Football 25 highlights the need for greater inclusivity and representation in the gaming industry, particularly in sports titles where women play integral roles both on and off the field.
