Jason Kelce’s retirement from football didn’t last very long.
Last month, there was speculation that former Eagles center Jason Kelce might join ESPN’s Monday night team, and now it looks like the deal has been finalized.
According to Andrew Marchand of TheAthletic.com, Kelce has secured a position with the network and will be appearing on the Monday Night Countdown pregame show, marking his first engagement since retiring from the Eagles at the season’s end.

The initial reports suggesting Kelce’s move to ESPN also mentioned that Robert Griffin III would no longer be part of the show. Marchand’s recent update reiterates that Griffin is “unlikely” to return.
Following his retirement announcement, Kelce explored opportunities with multiple broadcasters and confirmed his new role. Alongside his transition to broadcasting, Kelce will continue to co-host the New Heights podcast with his brother Travis, as he navigates his post-playing career.
