It appears that longtime Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry may be seeking a new team for the upcoming 2024 season.
During a segment on “SportsCenter” this Saturday morning, ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler provided insights into Henry’s future. Fowler emphasized that Henry is unlikely to re-sign with the Titans, but there’s a possibility he could land elsewhere in the AFC.
Currently, the Baltimore Ravens are emerging as potential suitors for Henry, given their need at the running back position.
“I was told from multiple sources that he’s not expected to return to the Titans. It looks like he’s going to have some interest elsewhere and will go sign with a contender,” Fowler said. “Baltimore is a team I’ve heard a little bit of. They’ve done all the homework on the top running backs. If they find the right price, he could be in the AFC North.”

The prospect of pairing Henry with Lamar Jackson in the Ravens’ offense is intriguing and could pose challenges for opposing teams.
Despite being at a later stage in his career, Henry remains a significant playmaker. In the 2023 season, he amassed 1,167 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 280 attempts.
While Jackson led the Ravens in rushing last season with 821 yards, closely followed by Gus Edwards with 810 yards, adding a talent like Henry to their roster could significantly bolster their ground game.
In summary, the Ravens could greatly benefit from adding a running back of Henry’s caliber to their lineup.
