ESPN and SEC Network sports reporter Laura Rutledge is having an exceptional year.
Recently, she achieved a major milestone in her career by covering the Masters in Augusta for ESPN, describing it as a dream come true.
On social media, Rutledge expressed her excitement, recalling how watching the Masters was a cherished tradition in her Georgia family. “This is truly a bucket list event for me… a bucket list item that I never thought I’d actually complete,” she shared.

This week, Rutledge decided to take a break from social media after posting photos of herself in a vintage-inspired outfit. She sported a black sweater vest over a white button-up shirt, paired with a skirt and patent leather loafers with white socks.
The images showcased her sitting elegantly on a red chair and standing to give a full view of her ensemble.
Beyond her professional achievements, Rutledge, a former beauty pageant contestant and now a prominent figure on ESPN’s NFL Live, has had personal challenges and joys. She experienced a scare last December when her then 7-month-old son needed urgent medical attention and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Thankfully, she reported that the care their son received was compassionate and effective, allowing them to bring him home safely.
In June 2023, Rutledge and her husband Josh, a former MLB player, welcomed their second child, expanding their family which already included their 3-year-old daughter Reese.
