The NFL offseason can be a tough time for some.
Erin Andrews’ offseason is not unfolding as expected, as she candidly shared on her “Calm Down” podcast alongside Charissa Thompson. The seasoned sideline reporter for Fox Sports revealed that she’s grappling with what she described as “a weird rut” following the conclusion of the 2023 NFL season.
In the podcast episode, Andrews opened up about feeling down, particularly about her appearance and wardrobe choices. Becoming a mom to her baby boy, Mack, last summer via surrogate with husband Jarret Stoll, has added to the complexities of her situation.

“I’m just in a rut with everything, the way I look, the way I’m dressing myself. I look like s–t,” Andrews confessed, attributing part of her struggle to the absence of her usual routine as an NFL sideline reporter. “Maybe it’s not having to dress up, get your makeup done, get your hair done all the time.”
Attempting to rejuvenate her fashion sense, Andrews mentioned turning to TikTok for inspiration but lamented the challenges of putting together outfits for social events.
Despite Thompson’s reassurance that Andrews’ feelings are normal, Andrews expressed frustration, admitting to feeling stuck in a cycle of negativity.
Andrews, who turned 45, juggles her roles as a first-time mom to Mack, founder of WEAR by Erin Andrews, a sports apparel and accessories brand, and her professional commitments at Fox Sports. She quietly renewed her contract with Fox for three years in July 2022, following the departure of her longtime colleagues Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to ESPN.
Meanwhile, Thompson, who hosts “Thursday Night Football” on Amazon Prime Video, leads a multifaceted life, managing her ranch, Ruby Ranch, and running a home and interior design business alongside her broadcasting career.
