Excitement is mounting as Tom Brady gears up to join the Fox broadcast team for the upcoming NFL season.
His new role has piqued the interest of many, including Fox personalities Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews, who have expressed their confidence in his success.
During their appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Thompson and Andrews spoke highly of Brady’s potential as a broadcaster. Andrews, who will be sharing the broadcast booth with Brady, recounted her personal experiences with him, highlighting his engaging storytelling abilities.
“Sitting with him at lunch, he would share career anecdotes that were absolutely fascinating,” Andrews remarked. “It’s exactly the kind of insider knowledge and stories that fans are eager to hear.”
The atmosphere on “The Tonight Show” was jovial, with discussions about Brady’s consistent success in various endeavors. Thompson pointed out Brady’s track record, suggesting his transition into broadcasting would likely follow the same pattern of excellence. “Given everything he’s excelled at, I don’t see why this would be any different,” she noted.

Brady is set to make his broadcasting debut alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and Andrews on September 8th, during the game between the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys.
In a March interview with Front Office Sports, Brady himself was optimistic about his new role, believing he could offer a unique perspective. “I’m looking forward to bringing a fresh perspective to the broadcasts,” Brady said. “It’s a challenge, but it’s also going to be fun. I’m all about growing and trying new things, and this is a great way to do that.”
Despite some initial skepticism, Brady’s commitment to broadcasting was cemented by a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox in May 2022. As the season nears, the spotlight will be on Brady to see if he can translate his legendary prowess on the field into a successful broadcasting career.
