Erin Andrews recently shared her approach to dealing with jealousy from other women during a discussion on her “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa” podcast with co-host Charissa Thompson. Andrews explained that she tends to “play it up” in response to jealousy, especially after receiving a question about the topic.
Thompson also offered her perspective, suggesting that in a new relationship, it’s important to establish boundaries and communicate openly. She emphasized the importance of not sacrificing friendships or other aspects of one’s life due to a partner’s insecurities.
“If it’s a brand new relationship, then talk to her and be like, ‘Hey, if you’re going to have an issue with this, then this isn’t going to work out because I’m not getting rid of my friends or getting rid of anything just because you don’t like it. Like, my lifelong friend, I’m going to have to leave because you’re insecure?” Thompson said.
This approach makes sense and reflects common strategies employed by individuals navigating new relationships. Setting clear expectations and boundaries early on can help address potential issues before they escalate.
