Taylor Swift = Big ratings.
Whoever claimed that Taylor Swift’s attendance at an NFL game doesn’t have an impact may need to reconsider. The viewership statistics tell a different story.
Swift made an appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs’ dominant 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, where she sat in a suite with the family of Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, with whom she is rumored to be in a relationship.
It’s not just Travis Kelce’s jersey sales that reaped the benefits of Swift’s presence. FOX Sports revealed on Tuesday that the Chiefs-Bears game on Sunday garnered the highest ratings of the week for any network, drawing in 24.3 million viewers.

The mere presence of the music sensation had a significant impact, even though the game itself was one-sided, with Kansas City leading 34-0 at halftime. FOX’s national “Game of the Week” also secured the top spot in ratings among female viewers aged 12-17, 18-34, 18-49, and 2+.
Taylor Swift mania has now engulfed the NFL.
Following the game, Kelce opted not to address the media but was spotted leaving the stadium in the company of Swift, and they later drove away in a convertible.
The reported dinner between Kelce and Swift followed months of Kelce’s efforts to connect with her. He initially attempted to gift her a friendship bracelet at her concert in July, but it didn’t come to fruition. On “The Pat McAfee Show” last week, Kelce revealed that he extended an invitation.
“I threw the ball in her court and told her, ‘I’ve seen you light up the stage at Arrowhead. Perhaps you’d like to witness me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s more electrifying,'” Kelce shared.
This love story has become a hot topic in the NFL and is undeniably contributing to even higher television ratings.
