Somebody get Roger Goodell some “street cred.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and rap legend Eminem filmed an unlikely promo for the upcoming NFL draft in Detroit, Michigan which begins Thursday night.
“I’m Eminem and this is Roger Goodell. And Roger Goodell here is in Detroit looking for a little street cred,” the 51-year-old rapper says in the clip.
“Can you help me get some?” Goodell then asks, to which Eminem replies, “Absolutely not.”

Eminem, born Marshall Mathers, hails from the suburbs of Detroit and is known for his passionate support of the Detroit Lions football team.
However, during the 2023 NFL playoffs, Eminem made headlines when he was spotted in the stands at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, where he was captured on camera giving a double middle finger gesture to 49ers supporters.
The incident garnered significant attention and sparked discussions among fans and media outlets about his behavior and the rivalry between teams and their supporters.
The duo of Goodell and Eminem filmed this promo as well.
The Chicago Bears are officially on the clock as they have the first overall pick and are fully expected to take USC quarterback Caleb Williams.
