Once the Philadelphia Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs on Monday night, NFL fans brought up Bill Belichick as a potential replacement for Nick Sirianni.
There’s no guarantee the Eagles will move on from Sirianni. In the event they do, though, it doesn’t sound like Belichick will be an option for the franchise.
Howard Eskin of SportsRadio 94WIP is reporting that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie is not a fan of Belichick.
“I can tell you this for a fact, Jeff Lurie is not a fan of Belicheat,” Eskin said. “I can tell you that. I know that….I am positive that the owner is not a big fan, he’s not a big fan. He’s not the guy.”
If these comments from Eskin are true, we can officially cross the Eagles off Bill Belichick’s list of potential landing spots.

Belichick is already taking interviews with teams that have an opening at head coach, such as the Atlanta Falcons.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens with the Dallas Cowboys. They haven’t fired Mike McCarthy, but that could happen later this week.
The NFC East coaching landscape could look a lot different come next season.
