Although Gabrielle wanted to pay for a portion of the house, Dwyane has made it clear that they keep their finances separate, even signing a prenup to protect her earnings.
In the event of a split, each of them will retain their own income. Dwyane stated that he dislikes Gabrielle discussing their financial arrangements publicly, but he doesn’t control her actions.
He considers it necessary to protect his $200 million fortune if they ever go their separate ways.
