It was not scripted, ladies and gentlemen.
There was some debate as to whether or not Tom Brady was legitimately angry about a Robert Kraft joke that comedian Jeff Ross made at Brady’s roast.
Former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe spoke with Dan Le Batard following the roast and confirmed that the Brady-Ross bit was not scripted.
“That was not scripted. That was Tom genuinely coming to his defense.” – @DrewBledsoe reveals that Tom Brady did in fact shut down the Robert Kraft slander after Jeff Ross made a joke at Kraft’s expense last night at the #TomBradyRoast
Following a joke Ross made about Patriots owner Robert Kraft, Brady confronted Ross.
“DEVELOPING: Tom Brady said “Don’t say that s*** again” to Jeff Ross about his joke about him and Robert Kraft.”
Despite the uncomfortable moment, the roast was viewed as a great success.
The “Tom Brady roast” was billed by Netflix as “The Greatest Roast of All -Time,” and somehow, it might have actually lived up to the hype.
The jokes flew for nearly three hours and came from a variety of people including Ben Affleck, Peyton Manning, Bill Belichick, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman along with experienced roasters like Nikki Glaser and Tony Hinchcliffe.
