Draymond Green is doing what he does best, talking crap.
Despite not participating in Thursday night’s edition of The Match, Draymond Green, a star player for the Warriors, made sure to contribute some of the trash talking from the sidelines.
He followed his teammates Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as they competed against Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
In the beginning, the Chiefs stars took the lead, leading 3-0 after four holes.
After the Warriors team won a hole, narrowing the lead to 3-1, Mahomes made a comment expressing his confidence despite the smaller lead.
This comment potentially referenced the 2016 Finals, where Golden State lost to the Cavs after leading by the same margin. Right after this comment, Green trolled the Chiefs’ previous playoff defeat from the 2021 season.
He chuckled and said, “You guys are talking about 3-1, as if [Bengals quarterback] Joey Burrow didn’t send your asses home a year ago.”

"Y'all over here talking about 3-1, like Joey Burrow ain't send your a– home a year ago."

Green took the opportunity to reference the AFC championship game between the Chiefs and the Bengals in the 2021 season, where Kansas City lost despite having a 21-10 halftime lead.
It was clear that Green was prepared to deliver this diss as soon as the topic of the greatest comeback (and blown lead) in NBA Finals history was brought up.
