Draymond Green Takes Swipe At Former Teammate Jordan Poole On TikTok

There is no love lost between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole.

Golden State Warriors’ standout Draymond Green seemed to indirectly criticize his former teammate and current Washington Wizard, Jordan Poole.

In a viral video for Bleacher Report, Green participated in a roster building challenge. The challenge required Green to select one player from each of the five NBA teams represented by their logos to form a starting five roster.

When the Washington Wizards’ logo appeared on the screen, Green chuckled and questioned the players on their roster before ultimately selecting Kyle Kuzma.

The video generated speculation that Green’s reaction was aimed at Poole, considering their previous relationship and Green’s presumably aware of Poole’s current team.

In a trade executed earlier this month, the Golden State Warriors sent Poole and draft picks to the Washington Wizards in exchange for All-Star guard Chris Paul, whom the Wizards acquired from the Phoenix Suns in the Bradley Beal blockbuster.

The dynamics between Poole and Green were a topic of interest during the 2022-23 season. A viral video from October displayed Green striking Poole during a team practice, heightening the scrutiny. Following Poole’s trade, observers noticed that he unfollowed Green on Instagram. Before entering free agency, Green reached an agreement with the Warriors on a lucrative four-year contract extension worth $100 million.

Meanwhile, Poole is coming off his most successful season, achieving averages of 20.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. With a new team and potentially greater opportunities in Washington, Poole has the potential to flourish in the upcoming 2023-24 season.
