The NBA in-season tournament has taken a contentious turn. On Tuesday, a heated altercation led to the ejection of Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green during a match against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The clash extended beyond Green, as Warriors guard Klay Thompson and Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels were also ejected from the game held at Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif.

Trouble erupted just two minutes into the contest when Thompson and McDaniels became entangled. Gobert tried to intervene, seemingly aiming to prevent the situation from escalating. However, Green, witnessing Gobert’s actions, took matters into his own hands.
Green placed Gobert in a chokehold, dragging the T-Wolves center several feet across the floor while other players and personnel attempted to diffuse the escalating confrontation.
The incident between Green and Gobert adds another chapter to their history of clashes. Tuesday’s events, however, took the rivalry to an unprecedented level.
Given Green’s physical approach, some are suggesting that he might find a future in WWE once he concludes his basketball career.
