Donna Kelce may not be enjoying the luxury of a VIP box during this weekend’s Super Bowl.
During an appearance on the “Today” show, Travis Kelce’s mother hinted that she might be among the regular fans in the stands for the big game. She noted the exorbitant cost of boxes in Las Vegas, suggesting that she may not have secured one for herself.
“I have a feeling I’m in the stands, so far as I know I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
Avoiding direct questions about sitting next to her son’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, Donna Kelce instead discussed changing her Facebook banner to feature a celebratory photo taken after the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win.
She clarified that the photo was a spontaneous capture of everyone in the suite celebrating the team’s success.

While the seating arrangements for family members and WAGs (wives and girlfriends) remain unclear, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey’s fiancée, Olivia Culpo, attempted to purchase a box after McCaffrey’s mother, Lisa, expressed concern about affording one. McCaffrey intervened, refusing to let anyone pay to watch him play.
Lisa McCaffrey later revealed that she negotiated a reserved area with eight tickets to watch her son’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. She noted the high prices, speculating that factors like Taylor Swift’s presence and the Super Bowl being held in Las Vegas for the first time could be contributing to the steep costs.
