If you thought Donna Kelce couldn’t get any more endearing as the devoted mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, think again.
Donna has ascended to celebrity status within the NFL community due to her unwavering support for her two sons. Her prominence soared during last year’s Super Bowl when Travis and the Chiefs triumphed over Jason’s Eagles.
These days, Donna can often be spotted enjoying the game from a suite alongside Taylor Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend. And now, Donna eagerly anticipates watching Travis vie for his third Super Bowl championship alongside Taylor.
In a heartwarming revelation on NBC’s “Today” program, Donna shared the touching message she sends to each of her sons the night before their football games.

“I try not to bother them on game day because they’re a little busy, and I don’t think I’m going to get through. But usually I try like the night before, I will text my sons and will give them a little encouragement. Send them a little funny picture of when they were younger, depending on what team they’re playing…a little nostalgia.”
Clearly, Kelce’s guidance has been effective, as both of her sons have crafted illustrious careers and are poised to secure spots in Canton during their first years of eligibility.
While Jason has solidified himself as one of the premier offensive linemen in history, Travis is making a compelling case for being the greatest tight end of all time. He has already shattered Jerry Rice’s record for most career playoff receptions with 156 and stands just one victory away from matching Rice’s ring tally.
As the Chiefs endeavor to become the first team since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots to clinch back-to-back Super Bowl championships, Kelce’s unwavering support and sage advice continue to play a vital role in her sons’ remarkable journeys.
