At Arrowhead Stadium, where temperatures plummeted below zero degrees, Donna Kelce, a 71-year-old retired banking executive and mother of NFL players Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, enthusiastically cheered on her son Travis alongside his girlfriend Taylor Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs’ wild-card game against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday.
Wearing red glasses to support the Chiefs, Donna showcased her team spirit despite the freezing weather. Notably, she switches to green glasses when cheering on Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The cheering section at Arrowhead Stadium included Swift, who, celebrating her 34th birthday in December, joined in supporting the Chiefs alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany. During the game, there was a moment where Swift leaned in to share a whisper with Donna.
Adding to the lively atmosphere, Donna engaged in some swag surfing with Taylor Swift during the game, and the video quickly gained viral attention. Donna and the “Anti-Hero” singer have a history of supporting Travis at past games, including the Chiefs’ December 10 matchup at Arrowhead Stadium, where they faced a defeat against the Buffalo Bills.

Prior to Swift’s involvement, Donna made headlines in February 2023 when her NFL sons competed against each other in Super Bowl LVII, also known as the Kelce Bowl, with the Chiefs securing a 38-35 victory. Reflecting on her unique journey, Donna expressed, “It’s been a ride. That’s for sure. Sometimes I feel I’m on some kind of a different planet. I’m like, ‘What has my life become?'” as she shared with PEOPLE for the magazine’s 25 Most Intriguing People of the Year list.
