LIV Golf is set to make a return to Trump National Doral, as announced by Donald Trump on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Friday morning. This decision comes despite initial expectations that LIV Golf would avoid Trump-owned properties, as none were included in its original schedule.
Scheduled for April 5-7, the tournament at Doral falls a week before the Masters, and the preference for a Florida venue guided the decision. Doral previously hosted LIV Golf’s season-finale team championship for the first two years, and the event is slated to be in Dallas in 2024.

In a post on Truth Social, the former president, now residing in Palm Beach, stated, “TRUMP NATIONAL DORAL, in Miami, has just signed with LIV GOLF to host a Championship Tournament in April, 2024. The event they had at Doral in October was a major success!”
A spokesperson for LIV Golf confirmed the return to Doral in Miami for 2024, expressing anticipation for unveiling the complete schedule and additional details soon.
Notably, the Saudi-backed league will not be returning to Trump National Bedminster, where it held events in its first two seasons, and Trump’s course outside of Washington D.C., where a tournament took place in 2023.
The upcoming season begins at El Camaleón Golf Course in Mayakoba, Mexico, from Feb. 2-4. The first U.S. tournament coincides with the Super Bowl weekend at the Las Vegas Country Club, with a unique Thursday-Saturday schedule. Other U.S. locations include Houston (June 7-9), Nashville (June 21-23), and Greenbrier in West Virginia (Aug. 16-18).
