Certain NFL players harbor mixed feelings about their involvement in the “Hard Knocks” program.
Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard isn’t exactly thrilled about the news that “Hard Knocks” will be featuring their in-season show focused on Miami. The long-standing fan-favorite NFL series, which previously followed the Jets during the preseason, is set to commence documenting the Dolphins after their game against the Chiefs in Germany on November 5th.

Known for his candidness, Howard openly criticized “Hard Knocks,” referring to it as “B.S.” He expressed his discontent, particularly highlighting the ill-timed announcement that followed the Dolphins’ 31-17 loss to the Eagles on Sunday night.
“‘Hard Knocks’ is bullshit, especially during the season,” Howard said, via The Palm Beach Post. “No, I’m serious. I’m not a fan.”
Howard emphasized his main concern, which is the potential distraction the show might pose for a Miami team currently holding a 5-2 record and leading the AFC East. He also questioned whether the Dolphins had achieved enough to warrant such attention, stating, “I feel like before we embrace all this newfound fame, we need to put in the work.”
Several other players share Howard’s concerns about the impact of having cameras inside the facility. The prevailing sentiment among the players appears to be that “Hard Knocks” during the regular season is not particularly welcomed.
This view might seem ironic, considering that these athletes typically enjoy the limelight, and it’s challenging to see how it could have a negative impact.
