The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially presented their case to two-time American League MVP Shohei Ohtani. Manager Dave Roberts disclosed that the meeting occurred “a couple of days ago” at Dodger Stadium and described the conversation as positive.
Roberts openly expressed Ohtani as their top priority, a rare move for the Dodgers, known for their discretion in free agency matters.

The team has been vocal about its keen interest in Ohtani this offseason and remains among the frontrunners for his signature. However, leaks about meetings were speculated to potentially harm the team’s chances, making the public acknowledgment somewhat surprising.
Ohtani has also reportedly visited the Toronto Blue Jays at their spring training facility.
