The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly considering Doc Rivers for their coaching vacancy after parting ways with Adrian Griffin. Griffin was dismissed just 43 games into his first season, leading to the appointment of Joe Prunty as the interim coach.
With a 30–13 record, the Bucks have the NBA’s second-best record this season.
Doc Rivers, last coaching during the 2022-23 season with the Philadelphia 76ers, is viewed as a potential candidate for the position.

The Bucks aim to quickly pursue an accomplished and available head coach, and Rivers is said to be near the top of their shortlist.
Doc Rivers amassed a coaching record of 1,207-867 in both regular-season and playoff games throughout his career. In the postseason, Doc holds a coaching record of 111-104 (.516), with one NBA championship and two appearances in the NBA Finals over his nearly quarter-century coaching career.
