During a recent visit to Cathedral High School for a workout session with fellow athletes, an incident occurred that stirred some controversy. As the Seattle Seahawks wide receiver was training, a group of high school players was observing, and one decided to engage in some bold trash-talking aimed at gaining some attention.
The student called out to Metcalf, claiming, “Jalen Ramsey is your daddy.” This comment caught Metcalf’s attention, and he approached the student to clarify what was said. The student repeated his statement, referencing “the film” as his justification.
Metcalf’s response was simple yet impactful: “Who are you?” This retort caused an uproar of laughter among his teammates who echoed the phrase, adding to the humiliation of the bold young trash-talker. Metcalf then returned to his workout, dismissing the distraction.

In his professional life, Metcalf continues to excel on the field, leading the Seahawks with 1,114 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in the 2023 season, achieving a career-high average of 16.9 yards per catch.
