Things took a tense turn during the Seattle Seahawks’ practice on Wednesday, with an unexpected moment caught on camera by the NFL Network.
Star wide receiver DK Metcalf was seen getting into a heated scuffle with teammate Tre Brown. The situation escalated quickly, with Metcalf swinging his helmet at Brown’s head. Fortunately, he missed, but instead, the helmet hit the nearby K’Von Wallace on his helmet, as reported by The Athletic.
This altercation happened to unfold in the background of a live NFL Network segment, capturing the incident inadvertently. The NFL Network crew, caught by surprise, could be seen reacting to the commotion in the background.
The altercation was far from a typical training camp moment, as tempers flared and tensions rose. Head coach Mike MacDonald addressed the team afterward, acknowledging the incident and attributing the aggression to the players’ frustration from repeatedly practicing against one another.

MacDonald later spoke to reporters, emphasizing that Metcalf conveyed a “positive message” to his teammates at the end of practice, suggesting that the skirmish was merely the result of mid-camp frustrations boiling over.
He reassured everyone that the team remains focused and united despite the temporary flare-up.
