Dez Bryant’s disdain for Jason Garrett is unmistakable, and he doesn’t hesitate to express it throughout the year.
The former star wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, who spent seven years with the team from 2011 to 2017, recently directed a message at his former head coach during the Cowboys’ dominant victory over the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.
Bryant’s animosity toward Garrett likely stems from his release by the team during the 2018 offseason.
Since then, Dez Bryant has not taken an NFL snap since 2020 when he played for the Baltimore Ravens, participating in six games and amassing six receptions for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
Throughout his career, Bryant has accumulated an impressive stat line of 537 catches for 7,506 yards and 75 touchdowns. While his playing days in the league may be over, his criticism of Garrett appears to continue unabated.
It’s worth noting that Jason Garrett transitioned to a broadcasting career in 2022, leaving behind his coaching role in the NFL.
