Devin Booker, the star player for the Phoenix Suns, received some unexpected reinforcement in taunting Luka Doncic at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on Wednesday.
A Suns fan sporting a Booker jersey managed to get under Doncic’s skin during the Dallas Mavericks’ 132-109 defeat to the Suns. Despite being in hostile territory, the Suns supporter persistently heckled the Mavericks’ star throughout the first half of the game.
Doncic later singled out the heckler, prompting arena officials to address the situation and confront the fan.

According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, the fan chose to leave the venue voluntarily, particularly as the Suns were enjoying a substantial lead late in the game. Initial reports suggested that the ejection was at Doncic’s request.
Booker, who has had a longstanding rivalry with Doncic, seemed pleased upon discovering that the heckler was donning a Booker jersey. The Suns guard even reached out to the fan, presumably to express gratitude for the display of loyalty.
“I appreciate the support,” Booker told MacMahon. “I don’t know what he said. I hope he didn’t cross too many lines, and I’ll be getting his information. If you can find it, let me know.”
In the latest clash between Booker and Doncic, Booker emerged victorious, scoring an impressive 46 points on 17/23 shooting. Despite the blowout loss, Doncic contributed 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists.
