Detroit Pistons forward/center Isaiah Stewart reportedly sucker punched Phoenix Suns center Drew Eubanks in the back tunnels of the Footprint Center in Phoenix.
The incident reportedly happened a few hours before tip-off.

According to the Detroit Free Press, a team source confirmed the incident, but was granted anonymity due to the involvement of law enforcement.
The Suns released this statement:
“The attack on Drew Eubanks was unprovoked, and acts of violence such as this are unacceptable. We unequivocally support Drew, and will continue to work with local law enforcement and the NBA.”
The NBA is expected to review footage of the incident and if it went down as it has been reported, Stewart will likely be looking at a lengthy suspension.
Eubanks was uninjured and played in Wednesday night’s game against the Pistons. Stewart did not play as he is currently out with an injury.
