The Detroit Lions will be sporting a new look in 2024.
After allegedly being leaked, the Lions revealed their new uniforms on Thursday
The Lions new jersey reveal was met with mixed reviews.
“We are excited to launch a new era of Lions football,” Lions president Rod Wood said in a statement. “Honolulu Blue and Silver has defined the Detroit Lions for generations, and I am proud that we found a way to continue to evolve the look with a nod to the past and a focus on the future. The traditional look of our primary jerseys combined with the bold attitude of our alternate jerseys capture the essence of Detroit and the multi-generational fans base that supports us.”
During the 2022 offseason, the Lions collaborated with Nike to revamp their uniforms, opting for a deeper shade of Honolulu Blue reminiscent of the team’s early 1990s aesthetic.
True silver also returned to the uniform, appearing in various outlines, stripe elements, and in the traditional pants.

The franchise officially revealed the full uniforms at Ford Field on Thursday night, following an online leak that occurred seven hours prior.
As part of the unveiling, they introduced black as an alternate uniform option.
This includes a black jersey with Honolulu Blue lettering outlined in silver, paired with an all-black alternate pant option.
Additionally, an alternate blue helmet was introduced to complement this ensemble.
