It is that time of year again when loyal and optimistic sports fans make bold statements of support for their teams through tattoos.
One Detroit Lions fan, in particular, decided to get a tattoo proclaiming the team as Super Bowl champions in 2024.
The tattoo features the Lions logo alongside the coveted Lombardi Trophy.
The Lions, along with the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, and Jacksonville Jaguars, are one of the four teams that have never played in the Super Bowl.
However, this fan remains hopeful that this could be the year the long-suffering franchise turns things around.

He's got 2 years. He could either be referring to date played or season. Doubles his chances. He's fine

It is worth noting that the Lions have not won a playoff game since 1991, although they came close in the 2014 Divisional Round against the Dallas Cowboys.
Despite these setbacks, the team is coming off their first winning season since 2017, narrowly missing out on the playoffs due to a tiebreaker with the Seattle Seahawks. With Aaron Rodgers no longer in the NFC North, the division appears to be wide open, providing an opportunity for the Lions to make a mark.
Their 2023 season will kick off against the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, in the annual NFL Kickoff Game at Arrowhead Stadium on September 7.
Stay tuned to see if this fan’s tattoo prediction comes true and if the Lions can finally make their mark on the league.
