The Denver Broncos have signed a wide receiver following the departure of wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns.
In early March, the Broncos traded Jeudy to the Browns for a fifth-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft.
Now, it’s being reported that the Broncos have signed wide receiver Josh Reynolds, who started for the Detroit Lions last season.
This from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo:
“The #Broncos are signing former #Lions WR Josh Reynolds to a two-year deal worth a maximum of $14 million, source says. After a 40-catch, five-TD season in Detroit, Reynolds joins Sean Payton’s offense in Denver.”
Reynolds actually had one of the best seasons of his career for the Lions in 2023, but the usually sure-handed receiver will be best remembered for two crucial drops that he had in the Lions’ NFC Championship game loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Reynolds will presumably be the Broncos’ #2 wide receiver lined up across from #1 wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
