Clearly, Deion Sanders isn’t winning any geography contests.
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders had an amusing moment with reporters when discussing the “four heads” in “California,” referring to Mt. Rushmore—located nowhere near California. Sanders asked, “What’s those little four heads that’s in California? What do they call those? The people faces, engraved?”
Reporters corrected him, informing Sanders that Mt. Rushmore is in South Dakota, not California.
“It’s in where?” Sanders asked. “I thought it was in LA all this time? Wow…My geography! That’s the Hollywood thing? That’s what I thought – I’m sorry! Thank you for educating me. Jesus…South Dakota?”
