Deion Sanders always exudes confidence.
Colorado’s head coach, Deion Sanders, has been a prominent figure in the college football scene during the initial three weeks of the 2023 season, and it’s well-deserved.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” is currently stationed in Boulder to preview the impending clash between Colorado and Colorado State. This game carries a personal edge for Sanders’ team due to comments made by their opponents.

Earlier in the week, Colorado State’s Jay Norvell threw some subtle jabs at Sanders and his program.
“They’re weary of all that,” Norvell remarked. “They’re truly tired of it. I had a conversation with ESPN today, and I don’t mind if Boulder hears this. I told them, ‘I removed my hat, and I took off my glasses.’ I said, ‘When I converse with adults, I take off my hat and my glasses. That’s what my mother taught me.'”
During a “College GameDay” appearance, Sanders delivered a resounding message to Norvell.
“When we meet after the game’s conclusion, just ensure the cameras are still rolling,” Sanders declared.
Sanders had already fired back at Norvell during Thursday’s practice session.
“Why would they want to talk about us when we don’t discuss anyone else? All we do here is put in hard work and execute on Saturdays. But when they provide us with ammunition, they’ve gone and made it worse,” Sanders conveyed to his players. “It was just going to be a good game, but they’ve inadvertently turned it personal.”
ESPN will broadcast tonight’s face-off between Colorado and Colorado State.
