The upcoming season will see the son of a former WWE star joining Deion Sanders’ team.
Gage Goldberg, son of wrestling legend Bill Goldberg, has made a commitment to Colorado via ESPN. Initially, Gage had pledged to Alabama as a preferred walk-on, ensuring him a spot on the team without a scholarship.
Hailing from Boerne, Texas, the 6-foot, 215-pound linebacker has opted to walk on at Colorado, changing his commitment after the surprising retirement announcement from Nick Saban that shook the college football world.
There’s a notable connection between Sanders and Bill Goldberg, as they were teammates on the Atlanta Falcons in 1992 and 1993. Bill Goldberg, the senior, had a college football career at Georgia before transitioning through the NFL and other professional leagues.
