Deion Sanders consistently lives up to his well-deserved nickname, and on Saturday afternoon, the spotlight was squarely on the head coach known as “Prime Time” as he led the Colorado Buffaloes in their inaugural game against the National Championship runner-up, the TCU Horned Frogs. Judging by the reaction of his girlfriend, Tracy Edmonds, it was nothing short of impressive.
Despite being substantial underdogs with a -20 point spread on the road, Sanders’ new team delivered a remarkable 45-42 victory in their debut game, and Edmonds’ response perfectly echoed the sentiments of all observers: “Phenomenal.”
Sanders joined the Buffaloes in 2023 amidst considerable excitement, and his first test against the Horned Frogs undoubtedly earned him a passing grade. With a formidable offense and the presence of one of the best two-way players on offense and defense, the Buffaloes are off to a promising start.
