After guiding his University of Colorado Buffaloes to a remarkable upset victory over the TCU Horned Frogs last Saturday, head coach Deion Sanders shared a lighthearted moment with a reporter.
“Prime Time” and his Buffaloes had entered the game as substantial 21-point underdogs, but they executed nearly flawlessly on offense, securing a thrilling 45-42 win in a closely contested battle against the reigning national championship runners-up.
Sanders, with a mischievous grin, had a humorous message for a reporter after the game, as seen in a video clip shared by Phillip Lewis of HuffPost.
“Do you believe now?! Huh? Oh, no no no,” Sanders quipped. “I sifted through that bull joke you wrote… I waded through all of that… Do you believe?”

Sanders’ son, Shedeur, had an exceptional performance, completing an impressive 38 pass attempts for a school-record 510 yards and four touchdowns, without throwing a single interception. Travis Hunter, Dylan Edwards, Xavier Weaver, and Jimmy Horn all contributed significantly, each recording more than 100 receiving yards.

The two-time Super Bowl champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer had previously coached the Jackson State Tigers from 2020 to 2022. During his tenure, Sanders led the team to consecutive SWAC Championships in 2021 and 2022 before signing a lucrative deal with the Buffaloes.
Following their exhilarating victory at TCU, the Buffaloes are now set to return home and prepare for a highly anticipated showdown with their arch-rivals, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, next Saturday.
