This is what the internet was built for.
The highly-anticipated matchup between Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce against NBA teammates Steph Curry and Klay Thompson drew a large crowd of both adults and kids eager to witness these sports stars compete against each other.
Known as one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Mahomes is often sought after for autographs by enthusiastic fans.
However, he recently faced criticism for not signing for a young fan at The Match event.
During one of his rounds at the celebrity event, Mahomes found himself overwhelmed with autograph requests and had to decline some eager fans. Unfortunately, this included turning down a kid, which upset the child’s father.
While Mahomes tried to explain that he couldn’t make everyone happy, the father insisted he could have at least made one kid happy out of a hundred.
“I can’t make everybody happy,” Mahomes says, to which the dad replies, “No, you can, you can just make one kid happy out of 100.”
“I’ll make 99 sad,” Mahomes sniped back.

Although Mahomes handled the situation well, some people still believed he should have signed the autograph despite the overwhelming demands.
It’s a celebrity golf tournament, that he didn’t win. C’mon now. You’re not a celebrity without the fans. Just sign the autograph.

Hurts would never leave that kid hanging.

Tom Brady would have signed the kids forehead, given him season tickets, and then invited him onto a Super Bowl parade raft.

However, the two-time Super Bowl champion has chosen to move past this incident and focus on preparing for the upcoming 2023 season, aiming for back-to-back victories after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl earlier this year. Notably, Mahomes played a significant role in leading his team to victory and was named the Super Bowl’s Most Valuable Player. His exceptional performances throughout the 2022 season, leading in various categories like passing yards, touchdowns, and offensive yards, earned him the title of the regular season MVP for the second time in his career.
