As Taylor Swift continues to make waves in both pop culture and the sports world, comedian Daniel Tosh recently shared his unique “problem” with the iconic artist on his podcast.
Expressing his admiration for Swift’s business acumen and overall genius, Tosh pointed out a particular aspect that bothered him. He specifically referred to Swift’s song “Lover” from 2019, where she sings, “We can leave the Christmas lights up ’til January.” Tosh humorously criticized the lyric, stating that leaving Christmas lights up until January 2nd, as mentioned in the song, is not a significant enough event to warrant a lyric.
In a light-hearted manner, Tosh’s criticism raises the question of whether many people commonly leave their Christmas lights up until after the New Year starts.
On a related note, Swift recently attended the NFL wild-card game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Braving below-zero temperatures, she wore a red puffer jacket featuring “Kelce” and his jersey number “87” on the front, back, and sleeves. The jacket, designed by Kristin Juszczyk, was humorously noted by an NFL broadcaster, who quipped that when you’re Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift, you can simply call Nike to make a jacket.
