Danica Patrick didn’t hold back during her speech on Sunday, as she spoke at a rally for Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump in Pennsylvania. The event, held in Lititz, was part of the final push in the crucial battleground state ahead of Tuesday’s election against Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.
Patrick, known for her no-nonsense attitude on the racetrack, brought the same energy to the stage, where she delivered an unscripted speech to thousands of Trump supporters.
The former NASCAR driver, 42, made a point of addressing her authenticity, emphasizing that her presence at the rally was motivated by genuine passion, not by financial incentive. “Now I’m speaking. I’m not paid to be here. I don’t have a teleprompter. I’m winging this right now, everybody. I don’t need a telephone,” Patrick declared.
Her comment seemed to be a subtle jab at rapper Cardi B, who recently had to read from her phone after encountering teleprompter issues during a rally for Kamala Harris in Milwaukee on Friday.
Patrick also took aim at celebrities who have aligned themselves with Harris, specifically addressing recent allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs. The music mogul, currently facing serious charges, has been accused of forcing victims into “Freak Off” sex sessions as part of a larger sex trafficking and racketeering case.
In a clear reference to Combs, Patrick stated, “I never went to a Diddy party. I’m doing this because I love this country and there’s nobody that’s been tested more than Donald Trump on showing his love for this country — through indictments, house raids, mugshots, and getting literally shot.”

Patrick’s remarks about Combs came as the rapper remains behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial. Combs, who turned 55 on Monday, has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, but was denied bail.
The high-profile case has raised questions about the involvement of other celebrities, and there have been whispers that more names could be implicated as the investigation continues.
Patrick’s speech also touched on her belief in Donald Trump’s resilience and dedication to the country, pointing to the legal battles and other challenges he has faced as evidence of his commitment. “I mean, I’m standing here, this is a very surreal situation. There is glass around me to make sure that nothing happens. This is the time we’re living in,” she said, referencing the protective measures taken at the rally. “Nobody has been tested more than him on how much he wants you to have this amazing country not only great again, but better than it’s ever been.”
Following her appearance at the rally, Patrick continued to engage with supporters on social media. In response to a post on X (formerly Twitter) that featured a clip of her speech, one user praised her performance, to which Patrick replied, “I’m Danica Patrick and I approve this message,” followed by a crying laughing emoji, showing her sense of humor about the situation.
Patrick’s comments at the rally also highlighted the sharp divide between celebrity endorsements for each candidate.
Vice President Kamala Harris has received endorsements from numerous high-profile celebrities, including NBA stars LeBron James and Steph Curry, as well as music icons Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. Last Thursday, Jennifer Lopez, who famously dated Combs from 1999 to 2001, appeared at a rally in Las Vegas to endorse Harris.
Danica Patrick’s outspoken stance, particularly in criticizing the celebrity culture that she believes lacks authenticity, reflects a broader sentiment among many Trump supporters who view the mainstream entertainment industry with skepticism.
Her speech underscored her belief that her support for Trump is genuine and motivated by love for the country, a sentiment she expressed passionately throughout her appearance.
With just days left until the election, both campaigns are pulling out all the stops to energize their supporters, and figures like Patrick are playing a key role in rallying voters.
The stakes are high, and with battleground states like Pennsylvania potentially deciding the outcome, every voice matters. For Patrick, Sunday’s rally was an opportunity to speak her mind and stand firmly in support of the candidate she believes can lead the country forward.
