There’s no denying that Joe Flacco has been an unexpected standout for the Cleveland Browns.
Flacco, coming off the sidelines, achieved a 4-1 record in five starts for Cleveland, amassing 1,616 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. His contributions have played a key role in securing a playoff spot for the Browns in the NFC, positioning them as legitimate contenders for the Super Bowl.

However, on Thursday night, ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky took praise to a level that some might find uncomfortable. Orlovsky quote-tweeted his previous post that humorously labeled a sesame cracker as the “greatest cracker of all-time.” This time, he simply wrote “Joe Flacco?” in the quote tweet, suggesting that Flacco is the greatest “cracker,” a term that can be used as a racial slur.
While some found the tweet amusing, others felt it pushed boundaries, with comments like “HR finna have a talk with you tomorrow, Dan” and observations about sports analysts testing limits.
Fortunately for Orlovsky, many took the joke lightly, and the tweet remains unremoved. However, it’s worth noting that public figures must exercise caution, considering the potential for offense, especially when associated with sensitive language.
Interestingly, Flacco’s performance in the game took a downturn after the tweet, prompting some to jokingly suggest that Orlovsky may want to reconsider his post, albeit for unexpected reasons.
