Pro Bowl running back Dalvin Cook is planning to visit the Jets this weekend, with the potential of signing a contract if things go well.
The addition of Cook to the roster has the potential to make the Jets a superteam, according to Cook himself. “With the talented roster they already have and the acquisition of Aaron Rodgers, adding someone like me – considering my abilities – we could potentially become a superteam when you combine all the pieces,”
Cook said in an interview with CBS Sports HQ.

While Cook expressed interest in joining the Jets, he emphasized that he is not in a hurry to sign a new contract.
“I’m gonna sit down with my agent and we’re going to go over things. Right now, we’re just taking it one step at a time,” Cook said, via NFL.com. “I think that’s what this process is all about, you know, you kind of evaluate everything and you don’t skip the process of going through everything. I’m just trying to go through one step at a time and the Jets are right at the top of the list, so let’s go check the box.”
Cook stated in an interview with NFL.com’s “Good Morning Football.”
With impressive stats from last year, including 1,468 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns, Cook’s potential signing would undoubtedly raise expectations for the Jets in New York.
We’ll see if this “Superteam”ever happens.
