Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has undeniably emerged as one of the premier pass rushers in the NFL, but recent reports suggest that his conduct off the field may be causing some concerns within the organization.
According to Shan Shariff, a notable voice in sports media, there are individuals within the Cowboys organization who are less than thrilled with Parsons’ behavior, with some expressing that their patience with him has “worn thin.”
“I’ve heard from way too many people this offseason. I’m talking about at least four different people (have told me) that Micah has worn thin there,” Shariff revealed via Audacy.
He further added, “I’ve heard from way too many people that if Micah Parsons was out of there, there would be a decent amount of people inside the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco smiling or breathing a sigh of relief.”

While Parsons undoubtedly possesses immense talent, his outspoken nature on social media and other platforms has drawn attention. He’s known for speaking his mind without hesitation.
As for the Cowboys’ official stance on the matter, it remains to be seen. However, despite any internal concerns, Parsons is still expected to be a key part of the team when the 2024 season kicks off. His exceptional talent and on-field contributions, including 64 total tackles, 14 sacks, and two passes defended in the 2023 season, make him too valuable to consider parting ways with.
Furthermore, Parsons’ impressive track record, which includes finishing in the top three in Defensive Player of the Year voting for three consecutive years, underscores his significance to the Cowboys’ defense.
