Was there something unusual happening between Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb during Sunday’s NFC Wild Card playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas?
FOX’s announcers, Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen, speculated throughout the first half of the game about potential issues between Prescott and Lamb.
Prescott’s struggles in the playoff loss will undoubtedly spark discussions in the NFL world in the coming days.

After the game, when asked about the limited involvement of CeeDee Lamb early on, Prescott credited the Packers for disguising coverages but admitted he missed Lamb on a sideline throw.
“I mean, credit them for some of the early looks, disguising how they were going to play (Lamb),” Prescott told reporters. “Then late after the snap, moving, and obviously not giving me the same picture pre-snap as they did post-snap. Credit to them. Then I missed him on the sideline on a little roll-out, but once we got it going, once again it was too late. But it was as usual, CeeDee going and making plays.”
However, Lamb seemed to disagree, stating that the Packers didn’t do anything special regarding their coverages.
“Couple of miscues,” Lamb said. “Everyday things. That’s completions that we normally have. Obviously, on my part, I could have been better. I’m sure he could say the same, that’s for him. But not really pointing fingers, just could have done a better job of making the completions.”
The broadcast showed Lamb visibly upset as he awaited his first catch, which didn’t come until the two-minute warning of the first half. There appears to be a disconnect in their understanding of the game plan, with both players acknowledging miscues and expressing a desire to be better.
Despite a disappointing end to the season, Prescott and Lamb, two hardworking competitors, face the offseason as negotiations for their future with the Cowboys begin.
