During the final between California and Curacao at the Little League World Series, a coach is facing criticism for his actions.
After Curacao’s player, Nasir El-Ossaïs, hit a grand slam to tie the game at 5-5, he took a brief moment to admire his accomplishment before celebrating with his coach.
Some fans online argue that the coach’s contact with the runner should nullify the point, but the score remained tied.
Coaches touched player both at first and third. This is against the rules.

The cut line here is< did the coach HELP/ ASSIST the runner going to or leaving a base? No, the coach was just congratulating on the hit ball. Had the coach PUSHED OR PULLED THE RUNNER/ BATTER to gain an advantage, then a rules violation.

Ultimately, California had the last laugh when Louis Lappe hit a walk-off home run, giving his team a 6-5 lead and creating what may be remembered as one of the most thrilling endings in LLWS history.
Lappe, who ended the tournament with the highest number of home runs (five), expressed his immense joy by tossing his bat, raising his arms in the air, sprinting around the bases, and finally jumping onto home plate to celebrate with his teammates.
He stated that this feeling is unparalleled and believes only a handful of people experience it in their lifetime.
Lappe concluded by saying he feels incredible and doubts anything could make him happier.
