Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and Joie Chavis were spotted at their baby shower over the weekend, exuding good spirits despite Chavis recently confirming their breakup.
Diggs and Chavis, who also has children with rappers Future and Bow Wow, have reportedly been linked since 2022. Chavis announced in March that she was pregnant, but revealed in the comments of an Instagram video earlier this month that she and Diggs had split.
Despite their separation, Diggs stood by Chavis’ side on Sunday to celebrate the upcoming birth of their child. The pair shared a heartfelt moment, exchanging a kiss after Chavis opened a gift from Diggs in front of their guests.

Chavis looked radiant in a pink dress, showcasing her large baby bump as she posed in front of a beautiful display featuring flowers and orange and pink balloons. Any doubt about the child’s paternity was dispelled by a neon sign reading “Baby Diggs” prominently displayed behind her.
Diggs, 25, is already a father to three other children. Chavis, meanwhile, is a mother to daughter Shai, 12, with rapper Bow Wow, and son Hendrix, 5, with rapper Future. The 35-year-old influencer also had a brief romance with Diddy in 2021.
Chavis has previously addressed the speculation surrounding her relationships with famous men during a Q&A session on her YouTube channel.
She countered the accusations of being a gold digger or having children to secure financial stability by emphasizing her own identity and worth beyond those relationships.
“[Some people say], ‘Oh, she’s a gold digger,’ or, ‘She’s just having these babies to secure a bag.’ The people that know me, obviously, know I’m so much more than that,” Chavis explained.
The baby shower was a testament to the pair’s ability to co-parent amicably and celebrate the impending arrival of their child, setting a positive example despite their personal relationship changes.
